Firefox Vs Internet Explorer

Recently Firefox 3 was launched with lots of fanfare and yes it did become the maximum downloaded browser but I personally feel Mozilla has been in some hurry to release Firefox 3, due to multiple reasons I had to downgrade back to firefox 2.x, Some added features are really good but on the other hand there is a lot of problems while using it, one of such is the process keeps running in the background even after exiting firefox,
Another problem I came across was that whenever I exited, firefox crashed giving me the crash report window. This became quite irritating, guys if you have any similar problems do post a comment below and let's search what is the best remedy for now.
Internet Explorer 8 Beta has been a major pain till now, I think Microsoft wants to show the features of the IE 8 by dumping it on the users head like restoring the session. Whenever IE crashes, it has the new feature of restoring back to the session where it crashed but wait... Does this mean IE 8 beta has to crash every minute, so that we can recognize it's feature? I think it plainly sucks, no matter what the Microsoft followers say. I believe the only thing Microsoft can create and it won't suck will be a Vaccum Cleaner

Remote Desktop Administration.

For most of the new users of computer, this term Remote Desktop Administration should be Greek or Roman but knowing it can solve many issues without much or no technical skills at all. Let's come to the point,
What is remote desktop administration?
A simple way where someone else can see or control your computer by using the Internet or the local network. Many times you may have asked your friends for help, they might have already helped you or least tried to help but they had a bottleneck of not being able to see what you are doing with your computer hence their efforts may have gone wasted or you end up with a solution which wasn't really helpful or it wasn't what you expected. In such case using the Remote Desktop Connection is extremely handy.
All you need to do is go to My Computer(Windows XP) or Computer(Windows Vista), right click on it and select Properties in the pop-up menu. In the new small window which opens, click on Remote tab which is located above and check mark the box which says "Allow Users to connect remotely to this computer", click on Apply and Ok.
Give your IP address to the friend who wants to help you and yes it will ask for the Login ID and Password of your computer which you need to give provided the person is trustworthy. The other user will be able to connect to your computer remotely and do the changes as required. Unfortunately you will be logged off from the computer so you will need an alternate communication medium ready for this. If you want to work together you can go ahead with many sites which share the desktop like skyfex or crossloop. Some may have something like a demo or trial system where you will have limited or no remote administration so check whatever you will be using.
Before I end up this session, try the same with MSN Messenger. It can be a bit handy.
Have Fun and keep visiting.

Anti Virus, Anti Spyware and Firewall

Hi,
Long time since I posted as I have been extremely busy with work. I recently came across a completely new bunch of surfers who are hysteric because of Viruses and spywares. Since many people have been scared of the threats, I checked some programs and came out with results (nothing like a commercial promotion) but as a suggestion if you are looking to kick some of those bad people masquerading your system. Now there are various things you can try if you are willing to shell out enough $’s for software. What I recommend is test the free stuff that is easily available and works well.

AVG Antivirus Free Version.

Spybot S & D spyware cleaner.

Zone Alarm Firewall

I guess these ones are really good when it comes to personal computers, just that these are not for commercial use.

Buying Mp3 Player

Hi,

In todays date owning an iPod or Mp3 Player is no longer a status symbol but a basic necessity, a need while commuting, resting or plainly hanging out. Do pay attention on what you are going to buy. Companies like Apple / Sony / Samsung... offer good Mp3 players which come along with after sales support too but there are cheap imitations in the market too which can be low on money when you buy but within some days they just stop working or end up with corrupt software which cannot be repaired or updated at all.

Some small steps which you need to pay attention is. Costly Mp3 players from branded companies have all the software updates available on the website as time comes while mostly the unbranded or imitation Mp3 players will never have anything like that.

You might read some website links on the imitation players but those websites do not exist.

The imitation players have exact looks like the branded ones but do pay attention on the company logos and holograms before you buy one.

Buy only from authorized shops instead of falling for some cheap quality players which cannot be useful once their software (firmware) starts giving problems. This can even lead to hardware resetting of the Mp3 Players to troubleshoot the same.

Some of the Mp3 players will have their size mentioned as 2 GB or 4Gb but that is just to fool the Operating System, whereas their actual size will be half or less than what they have mentioned.

Ultimately I am writing this post based on personal experience working with all these gizmo's and found out that the branded ones are really awesome. Have a nice music experience by utilizing these tips.
